Hollow Zero Torment
|||||Alice in Chains - Got Me Wrong||]|
Chris-sah: Yoiu can kinda tell it only looks good due to the markers
Chris-sah: (Anyone who says tools don't matter is aliar)
Chris-sah: a liar*
Hollow: Yeah, tools very much matter at least to society. As in, an artist can see a talented persons artistry in MSPaint, but a layman will always ALWAYS pick something drawn in Photoshop over it
Chris-sah: And since you're going to market to laymen...
Hollow: That's what makes me laugh about critiquing. It's artists critiquing artists, we are supposed to pick out every flaw. We should see every flaw. It's natural. But the flaws don't usually matter (if they're small enough)
Hollow: to the persons we are selling our crap to
Hollow: I can understand if the anatomy is poor, and facial structure is one of THE main draws to a piece of art. But if it's something like incorrectly placed clothing folds, haha who cares
Chris-sah: All i'm thinking at the moment is
Chris-sah: If a shithead can make colors like that with copics, are you sure you don't want moar
I'm not naming names. And I'm also not dissing critiquing since it's very helpful. I just am finding it amusing that we toil for perfection when most people just go "it's pretty, I'll buy it"
